We have one traditional service at St John’s each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. with concurrent Sunday School and childcare. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month.
We are located 1 block south of Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) near the intersection of Waterloo and Berkley Roads in Devon, Pennsylvania.
Sunday worship is held at 9:30 am and lasts for approximately one hour. The service is relatively traditional. Our worship is enhanced by a wide variety of special music, including adult and childrens choirs, bell choirs, a brass ensemble and our contemporary musical group, the Joy Messengers. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month, and all are welcome.
Dress at Sunday worship is very diverse, and there is no “dress code”. While dresses, suits, and ties can be found, the majority of the congregation dresses more informally.
Sunday School is held concurrently with the worship service during the school year. Children take part in worship for approximately the first 20 minutes, including a Children’s Sermonette on most Sundays, and then dismiss to Sunday School. During the summer there is no Sunday School, but children from Pre-K through Grade 5 can participate in a story hour. Child care for young children is always available in our nursery and classrooms below the sanctuary.FAQ
