Mission Trip 2012
Sign up for our 2012 Mission Trip to Ocean View, DE which will take place on June 24 through June 30. We will be doing projects related to home repair, including building wheelchair ramps, steps, painting and drywall. The deadline for signing up is January 15, so reserve your spot today with your $50 deposit. Sign up on Chris' office door or email him at chris.clark@stjohnsdevon.com. The cost of the trip is $500/person, and scholarships are available to any families who need them. |
Vacation Bible School 2012

This summer we will learn that Daniel was much more than the guy who survived a den of hungry lions! At Babylon VBS, kids and adults will find that they're not much different from Daniel and his friends, who kept their faith in a difficult culture. Children's Ministry: Nursery through Grade 5
St. John's Christian Education committee, along with Chris, are working hard in planning ways to serve our younger children effectively in God's name. Currently, they are brainstorming ideas and exploring possibilities for weekly, monthly and seasonal events. Please remember them in your prayers as they seek God's guidance in finding ways to meet the needs of God's precious children and their families. Watch for more details! |
Sermonette Object Sign-up!
Our little wooden box is waiting for items from your children - any small object like a toy or picture, that will be used for our weekly chat with the choldren at worship. You may take the wooden box home, place the sermonette object in the box and bring it with you the next Sunday morning. Sign up with Chris today. |

Alleluia Children's Choir: Young Voices Sing to the Lord
Rehearsals on Sundays at 11:00 am
There's nothing quite as sweet as children's crystal clear voices being raised in praise at Sunday worship. St. John's Alleluia Choir for children through grade 5 is a fun way for youngest members to participate in worship. We meet in the sanctuary at 11:00 am each Sunday. Rejoicing Ringers Handbell Choir
Rehearsals on Sundays at 11:00 am
The Rejoicing Ringers (the Senior High Choir) is made up of students in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades. They rehearse on Sundays from 11:00 to 12:00, right after the church service. They usually ring five times a year, alternating with the adult handbell choir.

Jingle Bells Choir
Rehearsals on Sundays from 6:00-6:45 pm
The Jingle Bells is our newest handbell choir made up of students in 5th and 6th grades. Their rehearsal time will be determined after their initial meeting. They usually ring three or four times in worship each year. |
Middle School Fellowship
Sundays, 5:00-6:30 pm
Middle School students in 6th-8th grade - Join Chris and Jess each week in the Carriage House for fun, friendship, service and spirituality. Activities are different each week.

Senior Highs - Weekly Fellowship is back! Join Chris and Jess in the Youth room of the Carriage House each Sunday evening for a variety of faith, fellowship and fun activities! |
