Sermon Archives – 2008
My hope through these messages is first to honor Jesus Christ by faithfully interpreting the texts of our Scriptures, then to encourage all who come hungry for a good, and, hopefully challenging word that enlivens faithfulness to our God. Often these texts are chosen from the lectionary, which assigns Old and New Testament readings to each Sunday over a three year cycle. I especially encourage you, therefore, to read the chosen scriptures before reading or listening to the sermon. Note — Occasionally sermons are presented by guest preachers, who are identified in the list which follows. Unless otherwise noted, the sermons were prepared and presented by Victor.
