The mission of an organization defines its core purpose, its fundamental reason for existence, and what it strives to accomplish.
Our mission is to glorify God by knowing, loving and serving Jesus Christ for life. We are a welcoming church family where all are invited for fellowship, service to others and spiritual enrichment of the individual, family and community.
Our Core Values
An organization's core values define how it does what it does and typically provides guidance for how people work together. Core values describe an organization's commitments to its general objectives and goals, ideals, norms and standards - those things which it strongly believes and they define how the organization gets work done on a daily basis. Our core values are:
Intergenerational: St John's welcomes members of all generations to our church family and will endeavor to provide opportunities for growth, service and spiritual enrichment to everyone in our congregation.
Serving others: We are committed to serving and supporting others in need in the local, regional and world communities.
Embracing: We are caring, compassionate, inclusive and diverse, welcoming all, respecting their perspectives, experiences and contributions.
