Going Green! in Your Own Home
A portion of St. John's Going Green! focuses on encouraging the congregation to consider what our faith teaches us about caring for creation and, more specifically, how we can be better stewards of God's earth on a regular basis in our homes. To this end, we have developed the St. John's Household Creation Covenant. This Covenant is meant to serve as a basis for encouraging you and your family to discuss and prayerfully consider the impact that your daily actions have on the environment. The Covenant lists dozens of ways that you can act; we are hoping that everyone in the congregation will be willing to take on some of these suggestions. (We urge you to commit to at least ten items on the list.)

Going Green Corner
Click here for a schedule for the new Going Green Corner, meant to provide an informal way for members to discuss their experiences with "greening" their homes and ways of life. Various St. John's members have volunteered to be available during this time for questions you may have regarding their experience with the topics listed on the Household Creation Covenant.
