St. John’s is having a mini-Church Bazaar on Sunday, November 19 during coffee hour in Fellowship Hall. This will be a great opportunity for you to get in some early Christmas shopping with unique handmade gifts and baked goods. All proceeds from the bazaar will go to the people hurt by the recent hurricane in Puerto Rico and the earthquake in Mexico.
For the bazaar to be a success, we need you to share your creative talents – baking, knitting, woodworking, painting, jewelry making, whatever – and donate your creations to the bazaar. Items can be given to Lara in the church office. Please attach a label with your name, any special care instructions, and size, if appropriate. If you are unable to drop an item off by Monday, November 13, please let Lara know what you are bringing, so we will have enough tables set up in Fellowship Hall. You can contact Lara at Lara.firstname.lastname@example.org or 610-688-5222.
If you are donating baked goods, please let Lara know what you are bringing. Baked goods can be brought to Fellowship Hall the morning of November 19. Please label the baked product. Cookies can be packaged 12 to a bag.
The bazaar is being coordinated by Darien Irizarry, who has family and friends in Puerto Rico, and the Christian Outreach Committee. For any questions, you can contact Darien or Christine Markle.
